This is a random mix of daily novelties

I found out tonight that my "blogging holiday" (which, as you can see lasted no more than a mere few days) did not go un-noticed by my family--so for their benefit, I will end my vacation and post on. Not because I was bullied into it or guilted into it, and not against my will--but because THEY seem to care about the daily trials and tribulations (as well as pointless ramblings, which is what I seem to be doing now) of my existence for whatever reason....so here goes....

Ok European summer travelers...I have a 91' Peugeot 405 (her names Cheri...she's cute and French, and a car BTW) in Lausanne, Switzerland. She got into a bit of a ding last week but is being repaired, and is in incredible condition for her age. I bought her when I was in Prague and decided to keep her for people who were arriving to Europe and wanting to travel by car (which I think is one of the best ways to do it there) to use. I know how hard it was for me when I first got there and couldn't get around easily, and hope to ease that trouble for someone else. If anyone thinks they may want to use her...you may, just let me know. I plan on being here in the states over the summer so it would be nice to know she is being loved. The only thing I ask is that you take care of her, and if she needs any minor repairs, you take care of it so myself or the next person to use her doesn't have to. Email me if you think you want more info. Cheers!

I was listening to NPR the other day. The newscaster was discussing the disappointment of our government leaders for not killing another nations leader (I'm sorry I don't remember the details right now of which nation and which leader, but it's not the first time I've heard similar news stories which is the point).
Its incredible to me that intentional assassinations are not only acceptable but encouraged by the highest government in the world. That seems so wrong to me. They are trying to KILL someone. Not put them in jail or restrain them from whatever they are doing wrong. Death. The end. No more hellos. Period.
Could you imagine being that guy?! The guy that the rest of the world has put a price on your head? Can't we talk about it? Aren't there second chances? Can't he plead his case? Now, I'm not naive...I know there are horrible monsters out there that are tormenting their people and making their lives a living hell, which is obviously wrong and needs to stop. But, is it our place to hunt and kill them back? Isn't that kind of hypocritical? I guess thats very liberal stance I have but when I heard it it seemed so strange and wrong to me. Aren't we more civilized than that?
